The Way Forward

Dr. Guedel’s legal practice emphasizes representation of Native American Tribes, municipalities, and businesses for strategic planning, risk management, development, financial transactions, regulatory compliance, employment issues, and dispute resolution. For his research on political economy, in 2016 Dr. Guedel received the first Ph.D. ever awarded in the 100+ year history of the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies. His research on economic development has been published and cited by leading media sources including The Economist, Bloomberg Business Week, Newsweek, National Public Radio, and numerous international television and multimedia services, and he is the author of the book Strategies and Methods for Tribal Economic Development – Creating Sustainable Prosperity in Native American Communities.
